How did the bus get there?

How did the bus get in the wild and could he have followed a road out, the one that the bus traveled on?
The bus was left behind by the Yutan Construction company during the construction of road. Company has hauled two buses on the highway and one on the halfway near Lake Wentitika in Denali National Park and Preserve to serve as backcountry shelter for hunters and trappers.
