Heading to the Bus after work in Naknek

I am heading to Naknek to work the 10th of June, I've done it for three years already and its always been a great experience.
This year when i stop into Anchorage, I'm going to postpone my flight back to California and head for the Stampede trail.
I am looking for someone or a group to come with me. I will be in Anchorage around July 26-29 not sure yet but for sure some where around that time.
Can someone please give me directions from Anchorage to the stampede trail? Or even better would someone accompany me to the bus? A little 4x4 maybe?

I hope to share this experience with someone who was touch by his story as much as i am.
I hear there still is a lot of traffic through there but not in Summer the river will be high but there are ways around it.
I hope you will join me while the bus is still there.
