best time to Travel to Bus

last year we traveled to the bus at the end of August and trouble crossing on ATV's but was successful... planning a church trip sometime in Mid May to Mid June, what is the best time to guarantee to cross with ease??????

Hi Eksessivaudio,
Are you here in Alaska already, and what church do you belong to? I am going to be making a trip to the bus somewhere in this timeframe as well, and I have two Alpacka rafts. That would require that your group be hiking, but if they are we might be able to line up schedules.
If you are going by ATV, the short answer is: September is about the only time I have heard of where people regularly and successfully cross the river on ATVs.
