Just posted a new page on the Hiking the Stampede Trail site about the history of bus 142, with writing by Mickey Hines and photography by her father Jess Mariner

I'm very thankful for her participation, and hopefully when she finishes her book about that summer in Alaska with her family, a lot of you will check it out!

Re: Bus 142 History and Photography
Hi Erik...
Great job with the article on your site about how the bus found its way into the Alaskan wilderness, Your website is full of usefull information that i am using as prep for my journey out there from the UK next year.
Amazing to think that without a series of events during the early 60's then we would never had heard Chris's story and who knows what may have happened had he not stumbled upon the bus.
Keep up the good work pal
