Pictures when Bus 142 first went Into The Wild (1960s)

Their dad did the conversion of Bus 142 from city bus to wilderness shelter for the Yutan construction company in 1961. I'm trying to get ahold of them to talk about it, but yeah... pretty cool photo.

I just chatted with Hines for a few minutes. She said she would post the footage on her Facebook account. Her account is private, but if it's not available to you guys I'll try and see if I can talk her into letting me repost it and credit her.

So there were a total of four buses originally. I had heard that before, but it's just kind of crazy to see them all. It's also kind of crazy to see the bus with bright white paint on it.
