A Trip to the Magic Bus 2011

Im planning a trip to magic Bus 142 for sometime in 2011, preferably in the warmer months. My father and I have done the proper research and understand the risks and challenges this journey will present. We have began the conditioning process and are very excited to go. We've been to Alask before so we understand what the terrain is like and were not about to blindly walk into the wild. Were looking to find some other people who are also interested in taking a few day to go out to the bus and see Chris's final resting place. Chris has had a profound effect on my life and this trip means an aweful lot to me. Were from NY so this is a pretty big trip for us. incredbile! i am also from NY [central NY] and am also planning a trip to the bus in 2011, certainly would enjoy the company and safety of fellow bus hikers.

I'm game. I'll be heading to Wyoming again this summer as soon as school lets out, and I've been wanting to go up to the bus for some time now. I'm wanting to drive up there after I get done tramping around Wyoming and Montana for a while.

I made a solo trek to the magic bus this past summer, 22 days total of my 6 weeks in Alaska. I packed in my own food, hunted, fished, and foraged for various edible plants available in the area. I know a ton about transversing this area, survival methods, and items that are an absolute MUST to take along. Hi Kendyl,
Do you have any dates in mind yet...? I am looking to make a trip up to the bus is 2011 and at the moment i am all by myself!
i will be traveling from London, England and havent worked out all the details yet but i am sure its all fairly straightforward to get to Fairbanks and then to Healy...
