Reading along I felt just like I was out there with you Steve. What a great story, you'll be glad you wrote this years from now, part of your legacy one day. Even the cooking pot is interesting. Can't wait to read more.

Great stuff Steve!! In my opinion, this would be a great article in outside magazine! You truly have a wonderful knack for writing!

In fact, let me thank all of you for your great contributions to the forum. I enjoy reading all of them and I am not the only one in the Christopher McCandless Memorial Foundation that does so ;0)
I know that we all have our reasons for being on this forum, so maybe I can create a section on the website for all of you. This section will be a bio of all the registered users (who want to participate) and their thoughts on the story and how it has affected them. This can also include a picture of the user and their visit to the bus - if there was a visit. A good 1 page's worth of text from each - at a minimum.
Let me know your thoughts.
Steve, your great story also deserves a special page on the site - so let me know what you think.

Great ideas admin! i agree that steves story is indeed a great one, and i also think it would be a wonderful idea to collect them onto a single page for the site. and i would also like to add i would participate in the bio section when it is added to the site. congrats Steve on having your story being featured on the website!! you totally deserve this my friend.
