I am spending the summer doing an internship in the DC area, and realized earlier today that Willet Dr is right on the way from my office to where I'm staying.

I have no intentions of bothering whoever currently lives there, but I would like to be able to drive past and have a look at Chris' childhood home. It seems that the exact address has never been made public, and (apparently, according to EricHalfacre's source who is widely believed to be Carine) the house Ron Lamothe featured in his documentary was not the correct house.

Willet Dr. is approximately 0.6 miles long. We know Chris lived in a split-level house, and we know (at least, we think we know) that it was not the house featured in Ron's film. That narrows it down a bit, but still leaves loads of options.

If anyone has any suggestions as to how to find this house, or if anyone has been there and knows which one it is, I would love to hear from you.

The address is 4608 Willet Drive.

It's 4608. The documentary is wrong.

Do a google search for "4608 Willet Dr. McCandless". You'll find results for white papers Walt authored in the 80's; the results' metadata clearly shows the address as 4608 Willet Dr. I'm sure the correct address can also be found by simply searching public records. I haven't seen the documentary, but I'd question any of the information in it if the director couldn't even bother to get this detail right.

YEP!! It just sold!! See the native American artwork and Harley stuff hanging on the walls that were mentioned in sister's book? On Google street view you can even see the motorcycle under tarp in carport.
