Hello all,

I'm not sure how often people come on this forum now, but I was hoping some of you could give me some advice and ideas.

In about 8 weeks I'm looking to fly across from the UK to Los Angeles, hire a car and visit many different places ending up at the Grand Canyon.

I would like to visit some places Chris went to, such as the Salton Sea, Hot Springs and Slab City & Salvation Mountain.

Having never been and wondered if any of you could tell me other places I should go, or things I should avoid?


Also.....any ideas what the weather is like that time of year?!

My advice would be to not go alone. Remember, happiness only REAL when shared. That sounds like quite a journey. Keep in touch with your family and friends back home. Have fun, and be safe!
