Christopher McCandless was a Taoist ?

I'am Taoist and realized that Christopher might believe in Taoism without (maybe) even knowing it.
What Taoism (and especially the Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi) tell us :
-Be close to nature, live according to the nature, we all belong to the nature
-Poverty is freedom
-To have nothing, it is having everything
-There is no bad or good, there is just life and changes
The only things is that Christopher seems to always have searched a truth whereas a Taoist don't search anything knowing there is no 'no truth but unlimited truths'
What do you think about it?
