General discussions relating to the story.

It made the news here in Sacramento because one of them was from Scotts Valley in the SF Bay Area. So I did a little googling. Apparently they'd been burning stuff in an abandoned building-one of thousands in the hurricane ravaged city-to keep warm on a 32 degree F night, and the building caught on fire and killed them. They were called "gutter punks" on the 5 o'clock news in Louisiana, according to the comments, and some people thought that was inappropriate. The referenced story talks about people with mental illness and such, I guess it is now a mental illness to reject America's fucked up society and I'm sure that they'll invent a "yuppie pill" soon. It's COLD everywhere in the USA tonight, it got down to 29 F in much of Sacramento last night, and to be freezing in gumbo country is not unheard of but it is unusual. Many young seekers will be cold tonight.
