Last night, I went out with my wife and a friend and we took some shots of the Aurora. It was suppose to be as good as it's been any time in the last seven years. That part didn't quite pan out, the lights were a little bit dim, but we did get some decent shots. We weren't coming home empty handed after being out in the -20F weather for hours. :p

And I also shot a time lapse. It came out kind of funky though. Somehow the aurora actually distorts the sky behind it. I'd never noticed it before and I'm not sure exactly how it works but I'd love to hear from someone who does:
