I'd been wanting to see that Animal Planet documentary. Lot of pictures I hadn't seen before. Much of it is pretty silly (snow on the ground all summer, ice covered river on April 29?) but it had some interesting assertions.
I'm left wondering why, if trooper Roger Ellis found a wallet with Chris's full name and address as depicted in the film, did it take so long to contact his parents?
And, why would Wayne Westerberg be surprised to find out that "Alex's" real name was Chris Mccandless. He had been employing him for a while and giving him a paycheck with his real name on it.
