Why Assume Disease?

Hey Everyone,
Through looking through this forum, i have seen so many people talking about how they think that Chris might have had Asperger's or ADHD or OCD or any other mental disorders including autism. Is it not possible that Chris was just a man who wanted to follow the path he created for himself and not the one society laid out for him? I mean, I sometimes catch myself wishing i could stand out from the crowd, I want to be different. Being the same as everyone else can be boring. Isn't it possible that Chris could have felt the same way but was brave enough to act on it?
