. I think he was irresponsible because of 2 main reasons. He didn't have a MAP, and he didn't stay in contact with anyone. 
Maybe if he had done at least one of those 2 things, I would think a lot more highly of Chris.

Chris McCandless went on an incredible journey which I find to be very adventurous and brave; however, I think for the most part he was irresponsible . I think he was irresponsible because of 2 main reasons. He didn't have a MAP, and he didn't stay in contact with anyone.
