Who was this Tracy girl potrayed in the Into The Wild movie? Is she a real person?
Has she ever been interviewed? What was their relationship like? I have tried to search information about her but found nothing.

Yes she is a real person. she did an interview w/ animal planet for the new chris documentary being released later this year. I spoke with her a number of times and she is a very nice and interesting lady.

Very real, indeed. Don't be surprised if she gives new information about Chris, particularly regarding how and with whom he left Slab City (Sean Penn's film has Jan Burress driving him to Salton City), and about their relationship.
