Hey

I am 19 years old and from Germany!
In the following weeks I am going to write a sklilled work on Christopher McCandless and his impressive story with reference to his potentially inspiration Henry David Thoreau.
Well, I really look up to Chris. Having the courage and strength to abandon everything for living an independent life is overwhelming, but I am still wondering WHY he left his family and his friends.

This is the issue I want to work with, the question why somebody who seems to lead a wealthily and lovely life wants to leave all this behind?
Of course I have to structure this, but all beginnings are difficult and I also do not really know how to start.

So, does anyone have an idea or information that could be helpful for me and my work?
I would be very pleased if you would answer=)
Just write down what you think and, of course, I will surf through the forum (I hope I can say it like that) and see if I can find some aspects that could be aan assistance=)
