Songs that remind you of Chris

My favorite is "Dreamline" by Rush. It came out on the Roll The Bones album in 1991, while Chris was still on the road, but it always makes me think of him. For some reason, I can't copy the lyrics, so here's the url:

I remember it very well, when it was on the radio every day back in 64. It wasn't really a favorite for me, it gave me an uncomfortable insecure feeling then. At 13 I wasn't ready to take on the life of a hobo. Millers other songs were all brilliant though and some were very funny, but always with a twist of truism, like You Can't Roller Skate In A Buffalo Heard. CM would have related to tat too I'm sure.

This is about an old man coming home from the forest and Chris's version might be about a young man going "home to the forest"

However its a very touching and sentimental ballad from back in the 60s when I was in my teens. I had all Gords records then and listened to them by the hour. He was a master of the ballad but pretty much a typical Canadian guy in every other way. If you met him he was quite ordinary, humble, friendly and helpful.
