Was so moved by this film & Chris!

My husband & I watched this film yesterday afternoon, we were absolutely enthralled from start to finish.
We had never heard of Chris before this but just enjoyed the film so much except for the ending! I just didn't expect him to die, when he tried to cross the river after he had decided he'd had enough & was ready to join civilisation again, even at that point I thought he will try some other way to get back!
I was just stunned when I realised he was going to die!!
After it finished my husband said 'you expected him to get back home didn't you'
What a lovely, brave & courageous young man he was, he set out to do it & he almost did it all, such a shame!
I just can't stop thinking about this film, the people he met along the way, his sister & his parents!!
