Replica buses.

Two replica buses were made, was any part of the movie shot at the actual location of Bus 142?

Sean Penn made the decision not to shoot at the bus because he didn't want to disrupt the area that way, and because logistically it would have been a nightmare to shoot on location, according to what I've read.

Yeah, what Erik said. It's also stated on the extras for the movie. They said the area just wasn't the right kind of place to shoot, and they didn't want to disturb it too much. They did visit it a few times though.
