Into the Wild Score by Michael Brook

I'm kind of surprised that no one has posted any mention of the score by Michael Brook (and not the soundtrack by Eddie Vedder) to Into the Wild. It is only available as a download. I bought it from Amazon, then burned it to CD.

I really like the music, it's kind of meditative, the kind of music you'd listen to alone. If you've seen the movie you will definitely be familiar with the songs. It's all instrumental music, probably guitar music mostly. Check it out if you liked the music from the film but feel there are songs missing from the Eddie Vedder soundtrack.

Another song from Into the Wild that didn't make either Eddie Vedder's soundtrack or Michael Brook's score was the song "Dakota Themes" by Peter Ostroushko off his Heart of the Heartland CD.

Kaki King also had a couple of songs that were very good in the movie,

I looked her up and now I really enjoy a lot of her stuff.

The score is incredible, only wish some of it had been looped longer or more created from it... i listen to it all the time! thereputic!
