After watching the movie.
Seeing how involved Emile got and the enthusiasm he had in certain scenes, they couldnt of asked for anyone better.
He was perfect for the role, do you agree/

I thought Emile did a good job as Chris McCandless in the movie. However, I rightly or wrongly always had the sense - ever since reading Jon Krakauer's book Into The Wild back when it first came out - that the real Chris McCandless was more intellectual seeming than Emile's portrayal of Chris, a bit more brainy - even - dare I say it? - nerd-ish (but in a good way). Why I felt that I am not sure. A projection of myself onto Chris? An impression I got of Chris based on the few pictures of him I'd seen?

I thought he fit the role perfectly
