What was your initial reaction?


i knew, for me, that I cried and was heavily inspired, never being the same since then. it showed me that possessions and money isnt the way to live, but rather through our sense of adventure and love for others.

I felt so wrenched, I desperately wanted someone to pop out from behind a tree and some how save him at the last minute. But that didnt happen, I cried just one lonesome tear fell. A day has not gone by that I have not thought of him. I cannot get him off my mind. How such a strong person died alone and suffereing for so long.. He's at peace now though, not suffering or in pain. That thought makes me happier.

great question: it blew my mind and changed my life forever and helped me find my true being.. anybody elses thoughts??

Its a great film very much reminds me of Jack Kerouak in a modern style - It brings on a strong emotional response, the last part is very hard to handle its so full of his youthful endeavour but coupled with great sadness and injustice

For me this film has been an immense inspiration, the most moving film I have ever seen.
Chris went on a journey, had the courage to make it happen and ultimately did find a deep understanding of himself. In this fast materialistic world we live in, it goes to show to find true beauty and happiness a lot of people look to wrong places.
I'm moved deeply moved, I wish he could still be here an amazing brave young man.

I'm having a movie night with this great movie for 10 of my favourite friends! i can't wait to show them this amazing movie! and yes i've got them to all read the book to! it's great to spread the word!

All went better than well dude they loved it! from start to finish you could see its powerful message and story being absorbed! alot of emotion flowing too! it felt great to give them all this gift! what an amazing movie!
