I'm still a little confused as to why Chris felt the way he did about his parents. I get that he in general just didn't enjoy the idea of parents. As well as them being workaholics and abusive towards one another in front of their children. But for most, it doesn't matter how badly their parents have treated them, they still love them deeply and seek their approval. I'm not saying that this is healthy or that he didn't love his parents, but its just something that normally occurs because they created you. I'm just curious what other people think about it. His anger and self absorption is unsettling to me.
