I've been a big fan of the Movie into teh wild for a long time but have only recently discovered more about Christopher McCandless. I wondered if the book Into the wild was worth reading even if i've seen the film many a time?

Yes it totally worth reading the book. And it is a short and easy read one. Worth investing about 4-5 hours of your reading time.
