Re: Back To The Wild DVD is available
True, but the money is going to the foundation, I owe a lot more then $5 for someone who changed my life. I just hope when I re-order the book, the book will come, since the book and DVD are the same UPC numbers. Yes good point on the money going to a charity. And I hope they send you the book this...

Re: Into the Wild Score by Michael Brook
Another song from Into the Wild that didn't make either Eddie Vedder's soundtrack or Michael Brook's score was the song "Dakota Themes" by Peter Ostroushko off his Heart of the Heartland CD.

Into the Wild Score by Michael Brook
I'm kind of surprised that no one has posted any mention of the score by Michael Brook (and not the soundtrack by Eddie Vedder) to Into the Wild. It is only available as a download. I bought it from Amazon, then burned it to CD. I really like the music, it's kind of meditative, the kind of music you...

Re: Back To The Wild DVD is available
I ordered the book a couple weeks ago and finally got it in the mail today but Amazon sent me the DVD instead, I checked the UPC on Amazon and apparently they are using the same UPC for both the book and DVD, I'm sure that's going to cause some issues. I just put on the DVD, look forward to finally...

Re: Ron Lamothe documentary available on DVD?
Well, to start with the house he shows that Chris used to live in, is not actually the right house. Geez I didn't know that. That's a big mistake to make. The 'roommate' he interviews is bogus. The guy living in California that was a lawyer? He was so annoying! I couldn't tolerate him, he was insuf...

Re: The lack of romance in Chris's story...
Or was he content living without romance and sex? I suspect that Chris being a very unique, and highly idealistic young person found it very difficult to find like-minded people in his young adult life, making romance a thing not easily accessed. On the other hand he also seemed to have this strong...

Re: wondering about the new dvd
Still awaiting word on the release date of the Back To The Wild DVD. Obviously the predicted release or purchase date (beginning of July) mentioned on the Back To The Wild website is inaccurate.

Re: when 142 was left behind
I think you might be looking at it wrong. The buses in the distance are being towed up a hill (note the outcropping of rock). It looks like it was shot from someone standing on the trail at the bottom of the hill, or perhaps a very short way up the other side of the valley the buses are being towed...
