Hi uksupertramp... im in the uk too and intend to travel to the bus sometime this year or 2012, would you be interested in traveling together?

I do intend to hike to the bus over a couple of days and see everything that chris saw rather than fly in and out.

I am hoping to go this year if i can find the time... i will find out myself what is in the coffee can... youve given me an extra little inscentive to make the journey now!

Thanks ellisd and bobenns, Are you travelling alone ellisd or as part of a group, or are you chosing to do this by youreself? I had wanted to do this on my own and experience the solitude but the obvious dangers of trekking alone is the reason i am looking for a group to travel with... best, Nick
