There isn't going to be a time that the trail is completely dry. You're still going to have to deal with beaver marsh crossings along w/ the Tek and Savage Rivers and not to mention the creek (Sushana River feeder creek) that follows and crosses the trail many times on the Bus side of the Tek. Les Stroud is my hero! I took one of his books, Survive!-Essential Skills and Tactics to Get You out of anywhere-ALIVE, with me the last time I visited the bus (June 2010) just in case anything happened. GREAT BOOK!!! I would recomment to anyone who is into surivival skills knowledge
