Re: Is Chris In Heaven??
I consider myself agnostic, because I don't know what to call me. I can not, and will not follow any organized religion. Not anytime soon that I can see. I see too much hate, so much evil in the name of God, and Jesus, I just can't fathom how people think it's right to do. Is there a God? Who knows?...

Re: The FEAR IS WHAT KEEPS US HERE...
I don't ever blame those who want to become doctors, fire fighters, etc. Lawyers, I blame them for helping make the world, or, at least the US what it is today. But, I don't blame them, if they feel happy, then so be it. My issue is with people who make the world, the lives around them, etc, worse. ...

You never know what will happen in life, but signs may be pointing to me doing the same. I'm out near Los Angeles. Let's make a network of people and caravan!

Personally I'm fine with the packaging. While I understand the idea of wanting something more for it, it's a bit more eco friendly, and probably a little more cost efficient with the thin card sleeve.

I still think you're completely over reacting to a query, but it is yours to over react to. Everyone is here because his story touched us in some way, to be curious is not a sin.

Re: Personal Aftermath of reading Back to the Wild
It's still a daily struggle to figure myself out, because at the end of the day, it's a huge thing to just up and leave. Baby steps I suppose. I am actually on vacation from work starting August 11th until the 30th. So, I'm planning on trying to live out in the nearby forests for a couple weeks, if ...

Re: New to the boards
Welcome to the club. Don't feel too geeky, I, myself, in the lat year have purchased the DVD, Blu-Ray, soundtrack, the book, and the new Back to the Wild book as well. I'm still relatively new to the boards, but the story has impacted me so much, continually since my first viewing. Even so much that...

To be honest, I don't think Lady was trying to pry into sultry details. Just about every human strives for love, relationship. Possibly kids, marriage. So, it's not that far fetched. Just chill a bit, and please turn off the caps lock, it makes things hard to read. Personally, I think due to his upb...

Re: Personal Aftermath of reading Back to the Wild
I fully agree with you there. I take no issue with people who need religion, I'm the kinda guy who doesn't put much on that. Some people need a church, temple, etc while some need money, or whatever to aide them. I'm not fully sure what I believe. I can't say, for sure, that I am here for any higher...

Re: Personal Aftermath of reading Back to the Wild
It's funny, I've only been on here for a couple weeks, an wish we all lived near each other. It's funny, cause everyday I go into work, it's almost to the point of physically hurting me it's such a drag on my soul now. I've been in the process of selling some of my things that I don't need/use, to e...
