In the submitted papers section of this website, a guy said in his paper/story that he cut down the rope, if I remember correctly?

Re: Notes from Chris' siblings
What upsets me is the fact that Chris' parents completely left out Chris' siblings when making the recently released book and DVD. I mean who else better to share the story of Chris that his family? If you know chris' story, then you know how close he was to Carine, and she was no where to be found...

Re: ANYONE HITCHHIKED????
I hitched rides with truck drivers on several occasions. I always called their company in beforehand and arranged it. Being a woman, I wouldn't ever just stick my thumb out and hitch a ride with any random stranger. This way, I had the name of the person and there were people who knew where and with...

Re: Have You Been Able To Find Books As Good as This??
Personally, I like George Orwell a lot. "Down and Out in Paris and London" is one of my favourites. It's about tramping, although not by choice. Interesting none the less! A classic.

Its called Between a Rock and a Hard Place. the book is about how in 2003 he was hiking in utah and he got his arm caught between a rock and a canyon wall and how he had to cut his arm off to save himself I really loved that movie! Haven't read the ...

Re: Was Chris autistic?
I think this is an interesting idea, and a possibility. I agree with the previous posters who said that there is nothing wrong with being autistic. However, if Chris was indeed autistic, I think it must have been a very mild kind of autism, possibly Aspbergers. I read a lot about this at one point w...

Re: what's your thoughts on the new DVD?
I'm thinking about buying the DVD. Would you be able to tell me more about what was in it? Any motion picture of Chris?
Thank you in advance!

Re: New to the boards
Steve - I read your story. Amazing! You have a real gift for telling stories. Reading about the moment when you arrived at the bus, I had tears brought to my eyes, and goosepimples all over!
Isn't there a final chapter missing though? How did you make it back?
