Re: Notes from Chris' siblings

I can't imagine how hard it must be to grow up in such a family. I'm so grateful that I'm growing up in a loving and caring family. It's very disturbing to know that they made the new book, without asking Chris's siblings, their own family. The ironic bit about the money from the charity being for &...

Re: Happiness Only Real When Shared

I cannot agree more... I don't think I realized how important this was before I read Chris's story. I often walk in the woods, close to my home, on my own. Until quite recently, I thought I enjoyed it more on my own. But I love it just as much, if not more, if a friend of mine comes along and I can ...

Re: Personal Aftermath of reading Back to the Wild

I just wish I had someone in my life who felt the same way, and I could just call up and say "Let's do this, let's go, let's live life" and then the plan starts in motion. Yeah, I really know what you mean... I often wish there was someone I could just talk to, do stuff with. The best of ...

Just as long as you don't waffle on your heritage.

Re: The new Book

@vergeetmenietje I saw on the Facebook group for the book that there are currently no plans to have it on Amazon.uk. Since it's being sold as a third party seller by the CJM Foundation instead of directly through Amazon, the CJM Foundation would have to ship the books to the UK and then they could ...

Re: The new Book

Does anyone know whether we'll be able to get it on amazon.co.uk? I can't wait to order it, but shipping it all the way from the States is going to be a bit expensive (if it's even possible to get it to Europe...)
If someone could help me with that question, that would be great. :)

I'm glad to see that that post didn't sound too weird.
I was afraid that I was getting carried away a bit.

Re: are you all serious?

I don't think any of us really think of Chris as a "role model". We don't look up to him like some sort of God. He was just a normal person who was fed up of people being so materialistic, greedy and obsessed with money. He wanted freedom, he wanted to prove he could live without all the t...
