Just remembered this blog today. Watched part of Into the Wild yesterday, planning on bringing it to college with me tomorrow. It's been so long since I've seen it or read the book; it's been on my mind so much lately.

haha luckily we haven't had any snow this week(knock on wood...with our luck, we'll have five feet of snow by morning haha) and it was really sunny for a few days, now it's back to rainy again...but the grass is getting really green, so that's nice! oh cool have fun at the party! :p and me too haha,...

Ahhh.........I miss BBQ's....and other summery things in general too haha. Yeah, I really REALLY want to see the northern lights!!! I love just looking at pictures of them. Haha that sounds like fun to me :p I agree about the music stuff too. It's okay haha, um I live in a small town and the weather...

Yeah, I do like environmental studies a lot...but I think I'm more interested in things that have to do with people, like human rights sorts of things. Well, you're still young, you've got time to go to college again if you want to(although college is usually pretty expensive, at least over here.......

Haha thanks :) Good point. I think people probably are afraid to break out and do things differently. However, some actually like the way their life is going with routines, and for them I think it's okay. I just feel bad for people that really want to do something differently with their lives but do...

Hi! I'm Chloe, I'm from the U S of A!!! :) I think it sounds great and all to be able to get a bunch of people to travel together.... and I'm sure we could all have a bunch of interesting conversations together! but unfortunately, it might be kind of dangerous :| Also, I still want to go to college....

JesusIsLove- That's important too, I think. It's good to try to do what you want to do with life, I think a lot of people feel like sometimes they can't follow their dreams because of the circumstances they are in...And nature is great! It's good to try to stay connected with it, or at least I think...

genecross- Great point! That's one of the things that I really liked about the story is that everyone needs people to get by. Everyone needs someone, and McCandless realized that at the end of his life(at least I would like to think he did. Like we said with the note and quote...) jlawson- Yeah, no ...
